About Dollar Point

Initially, Dollar Point was a recreation club with a purpose of organizing outdoor activities. Today, DPA is a full fledged organization of homeowners with swimming pool, tennis courts, beach, pier boat mooring, and picnic areas. Dollar Point continues to organized outdoor activities including: Bocce and Shuffleboard; Family BBQs; Movies on the Green; Star Gazing at the beach; Arts Crafts for kids; BBQs at Pool; Swimming clinics and Swim Camp; Junior Tennis Camp; Jump-Start Clinic; Margarita Mixer; Lobs and Drives; Round Robin; Drill Clinic; Doubles Drills & Play. This is a quiet, safe neighborhood in the Tahoe National Forest. The evenings in Tahoe are beautiful star lit skies. Dollar Point was the original site for the observatory. About The Owners

A Married, professional couple: Hal and Renee are both Squaw Valley skiers. Hal has finished the 'Great Ski Race' four times and we continue to ride our Mt. bikes on the Tahoe City Cross Country Ski trails http://www.tahoexc.org/ that are accessible from our home in Dollar Point. Hal loves to relax and nap on the deck. Renee is a Tahoe Rim Trail volunteer trail guide http://www.tahoerimtrail.org/ and loves to hike the TRT with dogs and swim in Lake Tahoe.
